Hello again.

Lets summarise progress with Nebula development from a past few weeks. This time I have spent tons of time working on UI, especially on a Main Menu Scene. It was hard and tedious but finally i can see a decent effects of my work :)

  • I have already Main Menu window with a Hangar option where a player will be able to upgrade skills and weapons.


  • To start a mission player will have to choose a space ship. Each shit will have a dedicated main weapon and one type of buff (for example speed buff  or  reduced reload time buff etc.). At the moment I have prepared 5 different spaceships. After that we just need to choose one of the available maps (at the start there are two type of maps unlocked and another 4 in preparation) and start the mission.


  • Ina game itself I've manage to implement couple of  additions, I have now an asteroids spawn system, those are going to ba a large projectiles that are damaging player and enemies, moving slowly but are difficult to destroy.


  • New type of the special enemies - those are bigger, tougher and are shooting projectile, just to make a gameplay more interesting and challenging.


  • Finally I have implemented a closing Window with some data from a gameplay. Data will contain a damage made by each weapon and number of kills/weapon. In addition I have already a system to unlock new weapons and skills in Hangar, plus to unlock next maps where I am planning to increase difficulty of the game :)

In order to finish the game you need to fulfil one of two conditions - lose your life or collect required number of gears (game currency).
