Nebula DevLog #11


Hello everyone!

There is a new update to Nebula Demo, this time i have add new feature for a game play and make a small adjustment to weapon rotation speed. 

Following a comments from you guys I have been thinking on how to shorten a bit a single run, so that it will not keep a player occupy for too long. I addition I was looking for some additional challenge for a player during a fight, therefore I came with an idea to create kind of resource portals.

Those portals will appear when player will reach certain levels and will be holding some bonuses. Just for portals I have modified probability function a bit and the most probability I have placed in "health", " level up", "explosion", "golden gear", that should speed up a map progression  :)

During the game player will see an indicator (arrow)  showing a position of the portal on the map

In order to activate it , it will be necessary for a player to stay within a portal between 5-8 seconds, depending on type of the portal. The more rewards the longer player will have to stay ;) 

There are 4 types of portal spawning randomly - respectively with 2, 3, 4, 5 rewards inside.

 There is a risk of enemies swarming around a player during activation but worry not, space inside a portal is of the limit for the enemies but you will still get a damage from enemies projectiles. 

This way player will have additional goal during game play and collecting a gears will go faster. I have been testing this today and I manage  to beat  first map in 11 minutes after few upgrades, so it is quite fast.

I have increased also a rotation speed for a main turret and fixed few small bugs.
